Is it better to have a wakeboard tower or just hook the rope to a loop on your boat?

I’ve been wakeboarding about a year now and I am wondering if it I should get a Wakeboard Tower? My boat has a 10 inch pole with a loop on the end to tie my rope to. I don’t really want to pay $600-$2000 for a tower.. I was told if you have a tower it helps you go higher in the air and you can do more tricks?

you should defiantly get a tower. You can go higher with a tower so you can get more tricks off. There is also the size of the wake. Which makes you go higher or not so high. Get A NATIQUE BOAT THEY ARE THE BEST

my purchase a Wakeboard Tower for my boat. are they really necessary. and i recently purchased a regal 19 is that good for wakeboarding.

your boat will be fine for beginner wake boarding. You do not need a large wake to learn the basics. A tower will help with a 55-60 foot rope getting up. Get up and practice surface tricks lipslides surface 180s and surface 360s. after progressing you will need to advance to a wake board boat. a vdrive nautique or mastercraft will help you in the advance tricks. These boats have 300+ horsepower transferred directly to the prop. You must have that hp to load the line and create pop

Are all wakeboard bindings made to be used with all wakeboards?

I have an obrien ambush 143 that has awful bindings, so i want to buy some better liquid force bindings, but i want to make sure they would fit the board, and any other boards i buy later on

Bindings are fairly interchangable between boards/product lines/manufacturers. However, I have found that some older bindings do not fit some newer boards. Just make sure that the new bindings that you get have one set of holes and other set of slots (for variable sizing) per boot. The other thing to be aware of is hardware. Some (retarded) manufacturers use different size threads, but you bindings would probably still work – just need different hardware. Good luck – no guarentees but it’s very likely that they’ll fit (especially new bindings)
