Dreamweaver head tag in editable region & swf file problems?

I have created a template to use for a website. In some of the pages, I want to add some spry panels and widgets. However, when I try, I get a pop up message telling me that the head tag is in a locked region and that to insert the content I have to unlock it.

Also, when I try to enter an swf file on a page, I get an error telling me that while executing objectTag in Flash.htm, a JavaScript error occured.

What can I do?

ok well im guessing your using dreamweaver yes? and im guessing you used the file>save as template option? if you did for some reason dreamweaver always locks the template. i havent had to mess with this issue in a while so i dont remember which option it is,but its something extremely simple. but if memory serves, its either Edit>template>unlock or modify>template>unlock.

As for the flash not working, again this is for dreamweaver. i learned this little trick in my first web design class. when you insert you flash document, select it, then change to the code screen, within that code there should be these two elements delete them. see if that works. if not, "apple z" (or ctrl z) =P good luck

Which wakeboard should I get?

I’m new to the sport of wakeboarding and have been looking at wakeboards. I have narrowed the boards I like/want down to the CWB Transcend and the Ronix Ibex. Which board would be a better buy?

I cant help but think the ronix would be a better choice… While I personally have never ridden a ronix, I am wanting to. I am currently on a CWB and like it but am finding they don’t hold up very well, more the bindings than the boards themselves… A friend on my boat the other day says CWB stands for Crappy Wake Boards.. While I love my sapphire I am now wondering about the other players out there, like ronix.

wakeboarding falls…

I have two wakeboards, I have a beginner 143 cm and just recently bought a CWB 133cm. I’m having a hard time with my new CWB board, I go so much faster on it and seem to lose control easier causing some pretty harsh faceplants and falls which is causing me to have to cut my wakeboarding time short. I’m fine on the bigger board and am able to control it but I can’t get the same kind of air on it so I really want to learn on my new board. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to ask the driver to slow down a bit?
the smaller board is appropriate for my size, I’m 115lbs

your problem is you have two diffrent rockers on each board

rockers are the curve of the bottom of you board

you have continues
and 3 stage

the first one is a smoother more mellow ride made more for carving and longer wider jumps

the second one is a 3 stage and takes more practice and YES ASK THE DRVER TO SLOW DOWN its a diff kindda ride
your board rides lower in the water and will have the tendecy to wonna SLIDE OUT and make you fall more
BUT you do get crazy air.

it takes getting used to is all and just go a bit slower
and your golden

so thats why you fall more on the other.

its all good.
