Old wakeboards vs newer wakeboards?

Posted: September 12th, 2011 | Author: admin | Filed under: Liquid Force Wakeboards | 1 Comment »

I found a 2000 liquid force Trip 33 for $90. I was thinking of buying this board, but I wanted to know if there was a big difference between an old board like this and a 2011 one. Is this a good first board for a beginner with experience?

The old board will probably work for being that you are beginner. Hard to say how long you will be able to use it before you outgrow it. I just started wakeboarding a few years ago so not entirely sure how good a board from 2000 would be.

Anybody familiar with Slingshot wakeboards? NEED HELP?

Posted: July 14th, 2011 | Author: admin | Filed under: Liquid Force Wakeboards | 1 Comment »

I am buying a 2011 Slingshot board (not the bindings) and was trying to figure out which one I will get the most pop off the wake behind a boat with? I was hearing how amazing slingshot was behind a boat which is a surprise because they are flex boards, but I was looking at the Recoil and the new Hooke, and a little at the Response. I think I am going to get the Hooke but can how sturdy do y’all think the new atomic wood core is? Because I was using the 2010 Liquid Force PS3 (non grind base) on cable, and the bottom is pretty much ripped to shreds, hah, input would be greatly appreciated, I will give out best answer thanks! SIC’EM

If you’re looking for the most pop go with the Hooke, it will have the most extreme 3-stage rocker of the models you mentioned. I haven’t personally ridden any of ‘11 line up but I have heard some really positive comments from friends on the durability. Any board without a grind base, or brand equivalent, will get torn to shreds in cable parks and no company will warranty a board when impact damage is apparent.

is a liquid force a good wakeboard brand.
http://www.proboardshop.com/wklf36pr8zz-liquidforce-wakeboards.html that’s the one i want. please help.

I honestly prefer Hyperlite boards. They are so awesome. I saw the price on the one you wanted was $200 and it doesn’t look like it would be that responsive and the fins on the outside help a lot! I would look into this one. http://www.thehyperlitestore.com/shopexd.asp?id=13365 I honestly don’t know about the website but its awesome. It is the one i have and i love it. Id check into the website though. Hope i helped. And just don’t go cheap! It is worth the extra money.

Liquid Force Lyman Wakeboard, Blank
