The mirrow comes in 1.88", 2.00", 2.25", and 2.38" diameters to fit towers. Anyone have an idea of what size would fit a 2008 Sea Ray 185 sport with the factory tower? Thanks in advance
the mirror should be universal but the mirror’s arm on most of the sea rays i’ve seen normally come in the 2.25" diameter..

My wish list consisted of:
a wakeboard boat or at least a Wakeboard Tower to put on our boat
a Jett wakeboard
new Wakeboard Bindings
a big screen TV
clothes
Ipod Nano
new car
Wii + games
TiVo
money
I got a Wii, no games. I didn’t expect to get any more than 2 things on my list, but I was hoping for a Christmas miracle.
What did you want? And did you get what you wanted or not?
My wishlist:
- a puppy
- clothes
- money
- gift cards
- new bag for school
- new boots
- magazine subscription
- books
I got:
- clothes
- money
- gift cards
- new bag for school
- books
I’m glad I didn’t get a puppy yet,
I’m still not 100% sure if I *really* want one
anymore.
I got what I wanted.

the boat needs to have a tower, a fairly big engine, dual axle trailer and needs to cost somewhere between 15,000 and 25,000 i will be using this boat for all watersports. good answers will be rewarded
Malibu Wakesetter, These boats are pure wakeboarding boats, it would not fair well in open waters but throws massive wake and pulls well. look at something around the 03 mark.

I do not have a tower on my boat. I am not looking for big air just enough to show off to my friends.
Towers are pretty overrated…. I have one on my boat and it does help, but it isn’t necessary…. The key is to first become comfortable with edging back and forth across the boat’s wake. Once you are comfortable with that, edge out on your toe-side (the side that your feet point). If you ride regular (left foot forward), it is much easier to learn to jump from the right side of the boat. After that, turn back towards the wake and bend your knees like you are sitting down in a chair. When you reach the peak of the wake, push down with your feet and jump. Once in the air, you can either bring the handle to your front hip, or let go with your back hand. This keeps your board from turning sideways. This is the most important thing that people who are new to the sport do not learn. This is very important to learn because you must do one of these two things in order to learn harder tricks. When you are about to land, absorb the shock of the landing with your knees. It isn’t super easy to jump and land at first, but with lots of practice, it will become natural.

My roomate’s brother just bought a boat and I was just wondering if I really needed a wake tower on the boat to wakeboard…PS i dont really need to worry about gettin too much air, I’m a rookie at this sport
you don’t need a Wakeboard Tower to wakeboard, although it does definitely help as you progress, its actually better to learn basics without one since you aren’t too worried about getting big air but instead you focus on correcting and mastering fundamentals
but as you do get better and better you may want to look into getting some ballasts and a tower if not a new boat, one thing a tower does for your boat is stabilize it while turning and stuff

I have been learning wakeboarding behind a Jetski. We have no tower for the rope, just same position as a tube… What is the ideal length I should have for the rope? Perhaps, if you can, also let me know how the difference in the rope length will affect me.
Thanks !!!
the only thing you have to concern yourself with behind a PWC is the spray. You will probably need the full 75′ on a standard line to make sure that spray isn’t a nuisance. Behind a boat there are a lot of factors involved in figuring your optimum line length: boat speed, weight in the boat, skill level. take those into consideration then find the cleanest part of the wake. Behind a PWC you can do it the same way but since the wake is negligible anyway it truly does not matter.
