Are my wakeboard bindings too tight?

Posted: June 29th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Wakeboard Bindings | 5 Comments »

I just bought Liquid Force Alpha bindings offline, and they feel really tight dry fitting. I don’t want to try them on in the water with the risk of not being able to return them?

Bindings are different wet, you are gonna have to try it.

You want them tight, but not so tight your toes start to tingle.

Best of luck.

Most water sport shops will give you the money back if u return them. I would call them and talk to them about it. They would definetely not just rip u off. And just remember for future times, always buy a wakeboard with a footsize higher than your footsize. You can tighten the wakeboard bindings very easily, so buy a shoe size wakeboard pretty large

If you can get your foot in when they are dry, then they should fit pretty good in the water. Your feet will slide in much easier. You want a pretty snug fit in the water (better control, and less likely for only 1 foot to fall out and twist a knee). I have Alphas and just tried to put them on dry and could barely get them on, but they feel great in the water.

Hi! I wakeboard and I know that putting on boots when their dry is often really hard for me to even do. . . when you are in the water, as I’m sure you know, the boots will probably slide on and off pretty easily. And if you try them out in the water and they still don’t seem right, as long as you got them from a trustworthy and good water sport store you should have no problem returning them. Best of luck!
