Open toed bindinds or closed toed bindings?

Posted: March 22nd, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Wakeboard Bindings | 2 Comments »

I am getting new Wakeboard Bindings but I don’t know what to get I am experienced at wakeboarding but I don’t know if I should get open toed Wakeboard Bindings or if I should get closed toed bindings
. What is the difference between the the two different bindings.

CT bindings are the only way to go. OT bindings will become more and more scarce within the next few years.

CT – Keep feet warmer during cold sets, feet less likely to slip around, feet are bound to the board better, better heel side responsiveness, more of a snowboard feel, they look cooler…etc..etc…

The only downside to CT vs OT is your toes will get jammed hard at least once so be prepared.

OK the only difference? One has open toe and the other is closed, yes?
Different Boots are different for different people, just like their boards are, some like 3 stage rockers some like continuous. So I suggest you just go to your closest boating store and try their boots on and see which one feels more comfortable for you. I have closed toe bindings but as I said it is up to your own comforts.
    Goodluck! :)
